LA LA LA LA LA LA - Not listening!

Where are my Site Usage Statistics?

These are the reports that should be available to you through your web hosting provider, most typically through your Control Panel. The reports have a myriad of information about the traffic to your website and it's overall performance. Ask your hosting provider how to access this information. Or, ask Brenash-Derian for help.

Our client submits his business to 5 online directories, one of which offered to list his business for free. The other 4 he paid for. His site usage statistics showed more visits coming from the free directory than - literally - the other 4 combined together times 5. Needless to say, he did not renew his paid submissions.

Another client uses Google Ad Words to promote additional traffic to their website. Site usage statistics show them that well over 95% of the click-thrus are coming from sites having nothing whatsoever to do with their business - love matchmaking sites, web designer sites, exercise sites, car speaker sales, and such. An assessment of what keywords were being misinterpreted was in order.

A client has a surprisingly large number of visits to a small, indescript section of their website, that no one predicted would be so popular. Recreating this section with more interactive resources ups the visits and also generates sales leads right into their Inbox.

A client in Kentucky does some marketing in Florida. Site usage reports show a very large spike in web visits from the state of Florida, for months. They no longer had to wonder if their efforts were for naught.

People are telling you with every single visit how they found you, a little bit about themselves, what they hate about your site, what they find compelling about your site, and if they'll ever come back again.

Don't you want this information?
